HT Conversation at the Edge - Helen Mildenhal
I couldn't believe this - this is so true and it's so very sad.
"Don't bash on my door before midday on Saturday."
An atheist goes door-knocking at the homes of good Mormons in Salt Lake City.

Personally, I don't like anyone coming to my door to sell me anything or to push their views on me.
ReplyDeleteI refuse to engage in door-to-door activities- unless I'm there to offer Christmas cookies or gifts.
This is a very edgy way to make a point, but I see what he is saying. It is quite RUDE to show up at someone's home uninvited and unannounced in my opinion- good cause or not.
I'm not big on cold-calling. I understand the purpose of going out and trying to introduce people to a faith, but I think they would get a lot further in relationship.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your thoughts.
I was LMAO!!! Thanks for posting this - I also HATE it when ppl come to my door peddling anything. Of course, I always answer the door and talk nicely with them...but I don't buy. So, did I waste their time or they mine?;)
ReplyDeletePersonally, I think it's a waste of everyone's time.
ReplyDeleteOh, except the people who think door-knocking gets them into heaven.
