One more thing I learned today: Some friends are just comfortable and familiar. There's no other word. I had coffee today with someone I have not seen for over a year (not for any reason other than busy schedules and life) and it felt like we hadn't even blinked. I am so thankful for her. I need girlfriends who I can count on to love me and value me where I am; for who I am instead of how many church services I attend.
OK, ONE more. I learned that our church cleaned up a neighborhood during service time today. I am thrilled and a little speechless because it is almost unprecedented. I'm truly thankful for the servants who did this, and I am certain those who live & work in the area were blessed.
